1. Current pre-launch state

The public preview site is online so that the MAJAL Early Access infrastructure can be tested before launch. Early Access email registration is not currently accepted. The production API reports registration_open: false, and the registration endpoint is configured to fail closed.

The site is delivered through Cloudflare infrastructure. Normal web delivery and security services may process technical request information such as IP address, request metadata and security signals needed to deliver and protect the service. Cloudflare Turnstile is also used as the planned anti-abuse control for the future registration form.

2. Information planned for Early Access registration

When registration is opened, the form is planned to collect only the information needed to manage Early Access interest:

• email address;
• selected interface language (English, French or Arabic);
• the time at which consent to be contacted was recorded;
• technical anti-abuse verification data required by Cloudflare Turnstile.

MAJAL engineering projects, circuit files and simulation data are not intended to be uploaded by this registration flow.

3. Purpose and legal basis planned for registration

The planned purpose is to receive and manage requests to participate in the MAJAL Early Access program and to contact people about that program. The intended legal basis for those communications is consent. The consent checkbox will remain optional in the sense that a person can simply choose not to register, and it will not be pre-selected.

4. Recipients and infrastructure

Registration records are planned to be stored in the MAJAL Cloudflare D1 database and accessed only for operating the Early Access program. Cloudflare provides the current hosting, Worker, D1 database and Turnstile security infrastructure. The final launch notice will identify any additional recipients or processors, if any.

5. Retention

The final retention period has not yet been activated because registration is closed. Before collection opens, this notice will state a defined retention period or clear criteria for deletion, including what happens to a request when the Early Access program ends.

6. Controller identity, contact and rights

The final public identity and dedicated privacy contact for the operator of the MAJAL Early Access program are being prepared. They will be published here before registration is opened. Until then, no Early Access registration data is accepted.

Before launch, this section will also state the practical method for exercising applicable rights such as access, rectification, deletion, restriction and withdrawal of consent, and will remind users of their right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
